OIT-98(2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one)

Description:

OIT-98% is a biocide raw material which can be used to make highly effective and board-spectrum fungicide for material protection against degradation, discoloration and defacement caused by mold, mildew, and algae. It has an unique isothiazolone chemistry and is a powerful dry film fungicide.

Used in:

Latex paint based on acrylic, polyvinyl acetate, and other latex vehicles

Some solvent-based or alkyd paints
